The OGP Virtualisation Framework is designed to provide public sector organisations with access to a wide range of virtualisation solutions, including VMware, Citrix, and other leading technologies. Softcat's inclusion in this framework underscores its commitment to delivering high-quality IT solutions and services that meet the evolving needs of its clients.

The framework is divided into three lots:
- Lot 1: VMware virtualisation software and associated reseller services
- Lot 2: Citrix virtualisation software and associated reseller services
- Lot 3: Other virtualisation software and associated reseller services, including Azure, Nutanix, and Parallels
Softcat's successful bid includes all three lots, allowing the company to offer a comprehensive range of virtualisation solutions to its clients. The framework is expected to drive significant growth for Softcat, with an estimated total value of €80 million.
